Jania Bailey, President and COO of FranNet, honored with Kentucky’s highest honor

A Louisville resident but Paducah native, Jania Bailey was recently awarded the highest honor by the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Kentucky Colonel. Colonels are Kentucky’s ambassadors of good will and fellowship around the world and awarded this honor for contributions to the community, state or nation and for special achievement of all kinds. Governor Steve Beshear recognizes this service and accomplishments and bestowed Jania Bailey as a Kentucky Colonel.

“I am proud and excited to receive this new honorary title and look forward to representing the true spirit of Kentucky”, state Jania Bailey.

Kentucky Colonels is an independent, non-profit corporation whose mission is to raise money to support needy charities, educational efforts, and other works that will help all citizens of Kentucky. However, the organization's good works do not stop at the borders of the Commonwealth.

Since the founding of Kentucky Colonels in 1932, there is an impressive list of outstanding men and women that are well-known Colonels from around the world including: Winston Churchill, John Glenn, Tiger Woods, Whoopi Goldberg, Muhammad Ali, Ashley Judd, Joan Crawford, Bob Hope, and Jeff Foxworthy.
